Chennai Super Kings

Chennai Super Kings are always known for their strong comebacks and we expect a similar comeback in this season too. Their openers coming back to form is a positive sign. Their middle-order batsmen need to be acting more responsible in order to win games. Their bowling has shown a positive remark, with Shardul Thakur and Karn Sharma’s wicket-taking abilities being a threat to the opponents.

Possible – 11

Shane Watson, Faf du Plessis, Rayudu, Kedar Jadhav, Ms Dhoni(C&WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Sam Curran, Dwayne Bravo, Shardul Thakur, Karn Sharma, Deepak Chahar.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Bangalore has won only two games while losing three games in this IPL season. Finch’s recent form has added to the already existing woes of Bangalore. With the addition of Moeen Ali, their batting depth has increased. Still, their death bowling is a major concern and need to be improved. Chahal and Siraj’s wicket-taking ability in this season has helped the team to wreck the opponent batsman.

Possible – 11

Aaron Finch, Devdut Padikal, Virat Kohli (C), AB De Villiers(WK), Moeen Ali, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Isuru Udana, Navdeep Saini, Mohammad Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal.

Match prediction

The team that wins the toss should bat first. This has been the success mantra so far at Dubai in IPL 2020 . Given the recent form, RCB looks more settled comparatively and CSK has failed to live up to its potential.

RCB has a slight edge on winning this match.
