Rajasthan Royals

Royals suffer a lack of depth in their batting line-up, and it continues to haunt them. Though Tewatia and Parag are doing a brilliant job in the middle, there is a void in the lack of experienced big hitters in the middle. Ben Stokes can be sent back to the middle to bridge that gap. Royals have improved as a bowling unit with Archer and Tyagi striking at regular intervals. Jofra Archer is impressive with both ball and bat and could be vital in crucial situations. While the Royals have one of the best top-order in the competition, at least on paper, that hasn’t reflected in the performances of the team. RR needs to pull up their sleeves if they should be winning.

Possible – 11

Jos Buttler (WK), Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, Steve Smith (C), Ben Stokes, Riyan Parag, Mahipal Lomrar, Shreyas Gopal, Jofra Archer, Mayank Markhande, Jaydev Unadka.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

Royal Challengers Bangalore is still in the driver’s seat this season and a couple of bad games wouldn’t bother them. RCB is at the third spot in the table with 5 wins out of 8 games. But, a few more losses will push RCB to the edge. Coming from a narrow loss against KXIP, RCB would be looking to get back to winning ways. RCB would not repeat the costly mistake of holding back AB De again. The likes of Chris Morris and Navdeep Saini have bolstered their bowling attack which has been very poor through various seasons. Though RCB is strong in all departments, they are lacking consistency. Will they make it through?

Possible – 11

Virat Kohli (C), AB de Villiers. Aaron Finch, Devdutt Padikkal, Shivam Dube, Parthiv Patel, Dale Steyn, Yuzvendra Chahal, Navdeep Saini, Chris Morris, Washington Sundar.

Match prediction

Royal Challengers Bangalore is more depending on AB De to provide that final attack in the death at death. The Royals bowling attack has also been brilliant in the past games and will be providing RCB an uphill task to gain those 2 points.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is expected to win this match.
