Kings XI Punjab

Punjab looks revitalised with the return of Gayle to back up Rahul and Mayank in the top-order. Though the match went for 2 super overs, it was a very clinical display of cricket from KXIP to clutch the match for Punjab from Mumbai. This match is also in the same venue and Punjab will hold some ground advantage against Delhi. Coming after wins against both Mumbai and Bangalore will be a huge moral booster for Punjab and will be a strong factor in their mentality this match.

Possible – 11

Kl Rahul (C&WK), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, Glen Maxwell, Mandeep Singh, Deepak Hooda, Mohammad Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi, Chris Jordan.

Delhi Capitals

Sitting on top of the table, Delhi has already set one foot into the playoff. Riding on back of Dhawan’s century, DC won against CSK. DC also has a versatile team like MI in this tournament and has lost only one game so far. They need to be aware of KXIP who come from 2 huge victories. DC is performing well with bat and ball equally. Rabada and Nortje are the main factors upon whom DC’s bowling is riding upon. Also, Iyer and Dhawan are making up the top order pretty stable which adds to huge score with the explosion from Stoinis towards the tail. DC is the second most balanced side, but let us see how they perform on the game day.

Possible – 11

Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer (C), Ajinkya Rahane, Alex Carey (WK), Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, R Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Tushar Deshpande, Anrich Nortje.

Match prediction

Settled DC takes on a dangerous Punjab in this super interesting clash. It is a must win game for Punjab where as DC has set one foot into the playoffs already. Both the teams are performing well recently but will Punjab stay alive? Yes, we think so.

Kings XI Punjab will have an edge to win this match
