Rajasthan Royals

The Rajastan team led by the fresh and energetic Sanju Samson will be looking to win the title. This team has the capacity to win the title as they boast names like Stokes, Butler, Archer, Samson and the last season’s wonder-boy Tewatia. Absence of Archer during the initial stages of the tournament will be a great problem which Rajastan should mitigate. But the addition of Chris Morris seam to have given a slight relief to the team in this aspect. Other than that, the team has enough fire power in all cylinders to walk into the top 4.

Possible – 11

Jos Buttler (WK), Ben Stokes, Sanju Samson (C), Riyan Parag, Shivam Dube, Rahul Tewatia, Chris Morris, Liam Livingstone, Shreyas Gopal, Jaydev Unadkat, Kartik Tyagi.

Punjab Kings

The newly renamed Punjab Kings under KL Rahul is looking all pumped up to get their maiden crown. Worlds best T20 batsman David Malian, then the power house of Gayle, Mayank, KL, and plenty of options to choose from. Also the addition of Jhye Richardson to pair up with Shami will be a great advantage for the Punjab side. Meredith and Henriques also are great additions to the squad and the squad looks complete for this season. The horsepower in this team is just too high and they’ll look to compete for the cup.

Possible – 11

KL Rahul (C/WK), David Malan, Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Prabhsimran Singh, Shahrukh Khan, Deepak Hooda, Jhye Richardson, Riley Meredith, Mohammed Shami, Ravi Bishnoi.

Match prediction

Both the teams look powerful on paper and it looks like an equal battle. But the horsepower in this match is just simply great and we can expect a very high scoring game. Kings are holding an edge over Royals in the batting sector while other sectors are almost on par.

Punjab Kings might come out on top in this clash.
