K.L Rahul- Player Analysis

A tall man with a Right-handed batsman who can also keep who can bat in a bat in any place of the Indian contingent. He is one of the most top-rated openings batsmen in the current generation. 

He scored 397 runs in 14 matches. He is the only man who 3rd the highest run getter for his club. Rahul proved his worth by amassing 659 runs with an average of 54.9 strike rate: 158.41, He struck six fifties in 14 matches, out of which three were 90+ runs.

KL Rahul made his first-class debut in the 2013-14 season for Karnataka. In the year 2016,11june KL Rahul was the first batsman who scores a century on his debut.

T20 career 

In T20 International he is one of the most destructive batsmen. He made his debut against Zimbabwe on 18 June 2016, he was dismissed for not scoring runs on his debut match. Rahul scored the fastest t20, 46 balls for India against West Indies. He can bat in any place in the team India lineup, Once he was batting at 4, he scored 110 not out. He scored the second T20 century against England, while he is the first T20 batsman to be dismissed as a hit wicket, Overall matches, KL Rahul scored 1557 runs with an average of 39.9, with 2 centuries and 5 fifties.

IPL career 

Rahul started his IPL career for Royal Challengers Bangalore as a wicketkeeper in 2013. However, in 2014 he played for Sunrise Hyderabad. Thereafter he returned to RCB in 2016. He missed the 2017 season due to a shoulder injury. Yet he recovered and was bought by Kings XI Punjab with a whopping price of Rs 11 Crore in 2018. 

Overall Rahul has scored 2808 runs in 76innings with a strike rate of 136.11 with 2centuries and 23 fifties with an average of 44.57 he is one of the most amazing batsmen in the history of IPL.

Test Career

KL Rahul made his Test debut against Australia at Melbourne cricket ground on 26 December 2014, he scored 110 runs at Sydney Cricket ground. So far, he has scored 2,006 runs in 36 matches  [A2] with an average of 34.59. With 5 centuries and 11 fifties on his name and he made his mark with his 199 in a test match at Chepuk against England.

He struggles against Right-arm pace has been in 54 balls since 2014, while he scores heavily against the left-arm bowler and gets out less.

Former cricketer Ramiz Raja has praised KL Rahul he quoted, KL Rahul is a viewer delight with an elegant of his batting style, whenever he wants to change his gear, he can accelerate and score runs”, he also added. The power play batting thrust loses its steam once the field is opened up. The overall run rate in the match was 10.25. But Rahul could only muster a strike rate of 7.17,” Raja quoted.

However KL Rahul’s techniques and application have impressed some of the big names of Indian cricket, he shares lots of things with Rahul Dravid. Currently, KL Rahul is enjoying his holiday in England ahead of the much-awaited match for the host.

Having said that he wants to start his Test cricket if he gets the opportunity in the test cricket, so KL Rahul is one of the most amazing batsmen in the modern era.
