“Is it going HOME or ROME? The FINAL Night Awaits”
When top contenders from Europe fight for the crown it is always difficult to call upon the winner early till the Final night comes to action. Its Italy, which finished runners-up in 2012 is taking on the home side England, which has reached the final after 55 years and this is huge for all the fans around the world.
Before the final we have seen hustles all around, criticism, speculation, and opinions after both the semi-final clashes, lets take a brief review for the same:
Italy vs Spain: Spain dominated the game with possession far from better, we could see offensive attacking football by Italy and at the toss for the penalty shootout, the gamble which happened has gained a worldwide vogue in fans mind and in the Captain’s interview, Chiellini is playing mind games along with their head coach talking about England’s teamwork and togetherness in the tournament praising Harry Kane and others, adding to this he said they are having a great fan base and just a point is that playing all games at the home ground is totally unfair they added aggressively. But it does not matter if you are the underdogs and have the caliber to win it this time around.
Denmark vs England: In a minute three controversies came up and agony for the Danish team and its fans. Sterling dives, two footballs on the field, Laser light on Kasper Schmeichel. The Referee calls it a penalty and cancels out the issue raised by Demark and then Laser being fired on Kasper’s face though the fan was caught and banned from football for lifetime. The England football association has been fined by UEFA. Demark was amazing in the first half and eventually lost in the 104th minute.
Final: It’s Italy vs England and this time it’s hard to call out a winner till the 90th minute and if added on. As in for opinion, England has paved a path to finals with easy opponents while Italy has shown the grit. Sunday’s late-night battle won’t be easy for the opponents as the entry for many Italian fans have been stopped after Covid cases increased in the country where about 60000 is the attendance expected at Wembley.
Predicted Lineups: Top notch playing eleven from the semifinal for the teams are expected to take the pitch in the final too.
England Predicted X1: Pickford, Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Rice, Philips, Mount, Saka, Kane, Sterling.
Italy Predicted X1: Donnarumma, Di Lorenzo, Bonucci, Chiellini, Emerson, Barella, Jorginho, Verratti, Chiesa, Immobile, Insigne
Referee: Bjorn Kuipers is selected for the Final whistle in London. Kuipers has a great experience and has taken charge in 2014 and 2018 World Cup matches also in the Champions League matches, who is well respected and strict at work with no non-sense in play. He is ready to take the field with 22 others.
Key Battles: Jorginho vs Mason Mount
Kane vs Bonucci
Chiesa vs Shaw
Immobile vs Maguire
Barella vs Rice
Head-to-Head: Played: 27, England wins: 8, Draws: 8, Italy wins: 11.
Italy may have the upper hand but its different day different scenario new team players, young blood, experienced lads
Predicted Score-line: As Mancini is not happy for England being the side which has played all games at home as said in the press conference and that absolutely the reason behind a team success is its fans support thus England are the favorites for the tie until and unless Italy does a miracle and the match is got to be 70-30 in England’s favor. Prediction: 2-1 to England.
