Strengths of the team

Rajasthan Royals have an explosive batting line-up. Sanju Samson the captain of the team, is the leading run-scorer for the team. He has scored 277 runs in total from 7 matches. His best score in the first half of the season is 119 against Punjab Kings. Another star batsman on the team is Shivam Dube. He has scored 145 runs from 6 matches and he has a strike rate of 117.88. Another player who can contribute to the batting department is David Miller. The overseas player from South Africa has played some good knocks for Rajasthan Royals. He has scored a total of 102 runs from 6 matches. Overall the team consists of a powerful batting line-up which can help the team to focus on scoring good scores on the scoreboard.

Rajasthan Royals have some amazing bowlers as well. The top bowler of the team is Chris Morris. From the 7 matches, he has taken 14 wickets making him the leading bowler for the most wickets of the team. Mustafizur Rahman from Bangladesh is another important bowler for the team. The fast-paced bowler has been able to take 8 wickets for the team in the first half of the league. The team also consists of youngsters such as Chetan Sakariya, Shivam Dube, Riyan Parag who have played well which is an advantage for the team.

Rajasthan Royals also have some star players in the form of all-rounders. Rahul Tewatia, Shivam Dube are some of the players who have performed amazingly in the first half. Another talented all-rounder who is important for the Royals is Chris Morris. He is also placed on the 4th position as the most valuable player of the tournament which will be beneficial for the team.

Weakness of the Team:

In the second half of the IPL, many of the overseas players who were considered as the important players of the team are going to miss the tournament. Ben Stokes, Jos Buttler, Jofra Archer, and Andrew Tye are the players who are not going to be a part of the team which is a loss for the team. Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler did some good batting on the pitch and in their absence, the pressure will be on the other batsmen. The team will also miss the fast-paced bowlers Jofra Archer and Andrew Tye which means the other bowlers have to perform. The replacement of these players Glenn Phillips, Tabraiz Shamsi, and Oshane Thomas will have to fill in their shoes and will have to live up to the expectations which can affect the team.

If Rajasthan Royals have to win the tournament, playing good cricket for the rest of the tournament is extremely important for them. If every player from the team gives their best then the team will certainly achieve the goal.
