These rivalries begin on the field, but they eventually encompass both the respective fanbases, and when fans get involved, then teams do not just play for those 2 points, but bragging rights.

Throughout the IPL’s 12 years, there have been many memorable matches with some breathtaking performances. Rivalries are a part of the game, and there have been some memorable matches between IPL teams. While some rivalries are one-sided, others are fought to the death. The IPL has seen fierce competition between franchises over the last 12 years, and some of the most notable matchups out of it are:

While one of the aforementioned teams has won the IPL four times in a row, the other has had a disappointing decade despite showing early promise.
