From Newcastle United’s big money takeover to the rebuilding of the Mighty Blaugrana, the upcoming January transfer window will cause a stir among the market and will definitely be one to watch out for. However, with many of the elite clubs spending huge in the summer window gone by, we can expect less extravagant transfer fees. Here are few of the potential signings which will get people talking and cause an uproar among fans:

Over the season and a half of his Manchester United career, it is safe to assume that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer doesn’t see Van de Beek in his future plans and the situation doesn’t seem likely to change anytime soon. So, it’s only a matter of time before Manchester United decide to offload the 24 yr old Dutch Midfielder. FC Barcelona has been courting his case for a long time under former manager, Ronald Koeman put down to his time in the Dutch national team. Although people might think the situation will be different owing to the sacking of the 58 yr old manager. But even with Xavi coming in, Van de beek can be an ideal signing for FC Barcelona, who look set to begin the rebuilding process. Fabrizio Romano, a renown journalist recently commented on the situation
Due to the recent agent switch by the Dutch national, it seems more likely that a move can happen in the near future. The Manchester United midfielder recently broke with Guido Albers and now has Ali Dursan at his courtside, the same agent who brought Frenkie de Jong from Ajax to Barcelona in the summer of 2019. At Ajax, he managed his most lethal goal contribution from in the 2018/19 season, where he managed to bag 17 goals and assist 13 goals overseeing a Eredivisie win and coming short in the Champions League Final at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur. The Catalans are still looking for a scoring midfielder given the dissatisfactory signing of Philippe Coutinho and Van de Beek fits that profile. So, there is a good chance that Van de Beek will leave Manchester United in January but will most likely be on a temporary basis(1-2 year Loan). The likely midfield pairing might be as follows:
So can Donny herness his inner Iniesta under the new rule of Xavi?

The Gunners, are preparing for life without star French talisman, Alexandre Lacazette, whose contract runs out in the summer and a contract extension seems unlikely. Clubs are free to negotiate a deal to sign the 30 yr-old on a free, with Arsenal Manager, Mikel Arteta turning to Luka Jovic, the 23 yr-old Real Madrid striker who’s been far from his prolific stints in the Bundesliga with Eintracht Frankfurt and is obviously looking for game time. Although the Spaniard has denied reports stating he’s willing to let go of Lacazette come January. Even though Jovic has failed to impress for the record 34 time Spanish Champions, the Serbian can still turn things around and Arteta reckons he can help him rediscover the form that saw him bag 30 goals and 7 assists in the 2018/19 season. Although, negotiations will be troublesome considering Arsenal is looking for a season long loan and an option to buy at the end, Real Madrid on the other hand, wanna cash in on their man and are looking for a bid close to 25 million euros.
On the brighter side, Arsenal have successfully negotiated loan deals for Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard in the recent past from Real Madrid, but only time will tell what goes on. With Arsenal’s both prolific goalscorers, in Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette both reaching the 30 yr old mark, Jovic is seen as potential replacement for the two although include the likes of Isak and Vlahovic. The most likely composition in attack will see Arsenal line up as follows if the move goes through:
But the ultimate question remains can this be a calculated risk or a set up destined for disaster?

Following their lucrative takeover, Newcastle United have set their sights on Philippe Coutinho, the Brazilian playmaker with Barcelona set to offload the $150m flop who made the move in 2018 from Liverpool. Newcastle are desperately looking for replacements to save them from the drop and are willing to make a loan plus buy deal for the 29 yr old.
With Eddie Howe set to take the reigns following Steve Bruce’s timely sacking, building a team from attack is set to the priority with the Magpies likely to line up as follows:
So can their be a happy ending after all for the former Merseyside Wizard?
