● Ravindra Jadeja
Ravindra Jadeja, a consistent left-arm spinner and dependable middle-order batsman, has turned into one of the best all-rounders in world cricket at the moment, across all forms.
The Key Man
His fielding abilities are deserving of special mention. “Jadeja is a brilliant all-rounder and is worth 10 runs a game from his fielding alone,” said Michael Hussey, a former Australian batsman and current fielding coach with the Super Kings. Since joining the Super Kings in 2012, Jadeja has played a crucial role in the team’s title successes in 2014 (CL T20), 2018 (IPL), and 2021. (IPL).
● MS Dhoni
MS Dhoni is a cricket legend, having won all three ICC global trophies – the World T20 in 2007, the Cricket World Cup (50-over) in 2011, and the Champions Trophy in 2013.
The One & Only Thala
His record as the all-time captain of the Chennai Super Kings in the IPL is as impressive: four titles, nine finals, and playoffs in all but one season. Apart from leading the side to two Champions League T20 titles in 2010 and 2014, he has done it all. From 2004 until 2019, the wicketkeeper-batsman had a spectacular international career, scoring over 17000 runs in three formats. He scored 10773 runs in One-Day Internationals, averaging over 50. Impressive Young Talent
Ruturaj was also named the season’s Emerging Player of the Year. Ruturaj made his Super Kings debut in 2020, displaying flashes of his talent with three consecutive half-centuries at the close of the season. Ruturaj debuted for India in July 2021 during their tour of Sri Lanka, and he was also part of the three-match T20I series against New Zealand in November.

Some top players CSK should target for auction 2022
● Yuzvendra Chahal
Chennai’s Chepauk Stadium is one of the world’s top spinners’ venues. Because they currently have two finger-spinners, indicating an opening for a genuine leg-spinner. Yuzvendra Chahal, an ace Indian cricketer, might be an excellent buy for the Chennai franchise in IPL 2022.
The 31-year-IPL old’s statistics are unrivalled, and he performed admirably in the most recent leg of the IPL 2021. Furthermore, he has a beautiful on-field bromance with Dhoni, which may be a plus.
● Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada of South Africa, one of the most devastating pacers in all forms, might be a superb buy for CSK during the IPL 2022 auction. The Proteas pacer has done a commendable job for his previous franchise, the Delhi Capitals (DC), in the last couple of years.
The Super Kings have let go of all their fast bowlers, which might turn out to be an excellent window for someone like Rabada. Nevertheless, KG will surely turn out to be a hot property at the auction pool.
● Rahul Tripathi
After losing their core Indian players in Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu, and Robin Uthappa, the Chennai Super Kings want middle-order batters. In this circumstance, Rahul Tripathi could be an appealing choice for MS Dhoni and his teammates.
In IPL 2021, the Maharashtra player had a strong showing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), scoring several match-winning runs later in the tournament. He did, however, previously play with MSD for the now-defunct Rising Pune Supergiants in 2016-17.
