HAMILTON’S FIGHT FOR THE DRIVER’S CHAMPIONSHIP GOES ON….

Lewis Hamilton stated that this was the best result for them so far this season after an emotional reflection on his journey to the 300 Grand Prix after securing another podium at the Paul Ricard circuit.

When asked about how he felt after another landmark podium, he said, “as a team, whilst we didn’t have the pace of the lead cars, this is an incredible result for us,. “George did a great job today as well. This is progress, even though we’re not necessarily closing the gap as much. But in race performance or in actual qualifying performance, but this is a great point for us.

Furthermore, when asked about how his journey has been so far, he said, “And this is my 300th Grand Prix.” Obviously, it was mentioned at the beginning of the weekend, and I didn’t really think much of it. I woke up feeling incredibly grateful, thinking about the people that have been with me along the way, you know?

“For Ron [Dennis] and Mercedes giving me the chance when I was young. Martin Whitmarsh Mansour Ojjeh. Toto [Wolff], Niki [Lauda], and others Just all these incredible people that have supported me since I was 13. To then have this just incredible journey with them, every race powered by Mercedes, “he said.

This is Hamilton’s fourth consecutive top-three finish this season. With an enthralling comeback at the Spanish Grand Prix, and he is in the best form, so far this season.

With a stream of upgrades to the W13s in the hope of fighting with the front runners and building a race-winning car, Mercedes is 44 points behind Ferrari in the constructor’s championship.

Lewis Hamilton, after another podium finish at the French Grand Prix, has revitalised his season with amazing consistency and consecutive podium finishes.

The British driver said,”I definitely thinks i can win races, and fight for driver’s championship with a major part left”. He is trying as hard as he can and is happy to fight for his team and himself.

A defiant Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes will fight till the end for the championship as they look to defend their constructor’s title and Lewis on his path to his 8th WDC title, which would break the record of former Mercedes and Ferrari driver Michael Schumacher. Lewis is currently tied with Michael, both having seven titles in their portfolio.

We all know what a determined Lewis Hamilton can do, as we have seen him from 2008 till now, with solid banker laps and great compelling displays of racing in his career. Hamilton’s will and mental strength are two of the best qualities of the driver. With a strong number of races left this season and a massive amount of changes to his W13s car, he would love to sparkle in the glorious sunshine and fight and would hope to win his 8th WDC title this season.
